Fongoli Montefalco Rosso DOC, 2020 gin cocktail Its multiple hillsides face eastThis wine is made of 60% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 15% Montepulciano, and 10% Merlot. We would pair it with a strip steak and roasted fingerling potatoes. Fongoli farms organically and is 100% Biodynamic, bottling its wine during the waning moon, and enriching its soils with plenty of naturally occurring nutrients. It is an interesting wine, with notes of roasted meat, dark fruit, and a hint of spice.
